Mindful Rejuvenation

Self-care and wellbeing retreat to renew mind body and spirit

2 days – 12 hours CPD* Professional Development Getaway in the Outback

BROKEN HILL – ALICE SPRINGS – BROOME

Are you a psychologist, doctor, nurse, allied health professional or human services practitioner caring for the physical or emotional needs of others? Only to find that your dedication and commitment frequently leaves you drained and exhausted by the process?

Although some occupations may be rewarding the ongoing demands of working with people in distress make those in the helping professions highly vulnerable to stress, illness and burnout.

Whether you want to reduce stress or anxiety, perform better at work or simply enjoy a good night’s sleep…mindfulness can help.

People living in regional, rural and remote locations are subject to a number of additional pressures. The impact of isolation, limited support services and lack of professional development opportunities can take its toll on your personal life and career.

What the program will do for you

Mindful Rejuvenation provides an ideal opportunity for practitioners in the helping professions to engage in personal ‘care’ activities and professional development learning to renew mind body and spirit in a stimulating environment.

The 2 day program will also be of interest to professional helpers Australia wide, law enforcement officers, teachers and volunteers, anyone who wishes to deepen their personal understanding and practice of mindfulness to build resilience and promote wellbeing in the community.

  • Detailed Mindfulness-Based Practices from several disciplines will be taught but best of all practiced and applied.
  • Come prepared to share experiences, connect with the spirit of the outback and discover how mindfulness and modern neuroscience can rewire your brain to boost resilience, wellbeing and happiness.

Return home armed with renewed energy and some ‘self-care’ tips and tools using reflective practice and mindfulness techniques to help yourself and others flourish.
